CLEVELAND, September 1, 2005 - iPower is announcing the availability of a new demand signal capture method based on the Symbol CS1504 consumer scanner. The offering includes a proprietary software client called iZapCS that manages the scanner and communications between scanner installations and the iZap central server for order transmission and management.
"The iZapCS application and new scanner platform brings a new level of performance to iPower's iZap solution by lowering the initial hardware investment to commodity levels," commented Bob Chesley CTO, iPower. "The new iZapCS client application has a very small software footprint, makes implementation very quick, and fully supports Internet based order synchronization."
"The iZapCS solution will help our customers accelerate their sales efforts and leverage a low cost hosted solution for remote order entry" commented Frank Begalke VP of Sales, iPower.
