iPOWER DISTRIBUTION GROUP, LLC OPENS NATIONAL HUB FOR MEMBER DISTRIBUTORS
National Hub To Serve as a Central Technical, Operational and Processing Support Center for iPower Distribution Group's Network of 175 Industrial Distributors and their Customers

CLEVELAND, OH, May 15, 2001 - iPower Distribution Group, LLC ("iPower"), a provider of supply chain tools and technology, national integrated supply marketing programs and other services for distributors, announced that it will begin operations at its new National Operations Hub located in Westboro, Massachusetts. The National Hub will serve as a central technical, operational and processing support center for iPower's network of 175 industrial distributors and its end user customers.

Gary Rice, former President of iPower's New England distributor group, has accepted the position of President of iPower Distribution Group, LLC. Mr. Rice will focus on implementing a new national account program and consolidating appropriate regional operations at the National Hub.

"Consolidating operations into one central data center makes for a more efficient system and a better platform for iPower's national account programs," said Mr. Rice. "Many network back office support functions can now move to the National Hub to allow distributors to focus on account marketing, service and implementation."

The National Hub will also manage and support the integration of its existing integrated supply platform with the new e-commerce technology and tools platform gained in iPower's recent alliance with Bedford, Massachusetts based MRO Software (NASDAQ:MROI).

Joining Mr. Rice is an experienced staff of six operations and technical personnel also from the New England group. Mark Woodin will join Gary as Operations Manager while Dave O'Donnell will manage the Customer Solutions Group. Other members of the team include: Brenda Anderson, Operations Specialist; Frank Andreano, Senior Customer Support Specialist; Linda Lambert, Accounting Specialist and James Mullins, Customer Support Specialist.
